Model Polytechnic College, Vadakara is running under the Institute of Human Resource Development established by Government of Kerala.

College offers three years Diploma courses in the field of Computer Hardware Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Bio-Medical Engineering and Electrical & Electronics Engineering. These courses are affiliated to the Directorate of Technical Education, Kerala and approved by All India Council For Technical Education (AICTE).

All the course syllabi has been tailored to suit extreme industry requirements. The institute is dedicated scientific advancement, technological progress and economic growth of the country through human resources development.
